Introduction and Sales
of the Company’s Own Branded Gift Card
The Project:
In 2018, the Kreatív Hobby chain wanted to move from old-style gift vouchers to a more modern solution, and our gift card business offered exactly the services they needed. The paper-based vouchers that their customers used to purchase and redeem had several disadvantages (complex tracking and settlement process, outdated appearance, need for secure storage, etc.), thankfully, today there are much better alternatives available.
In this project, our company not only provided the complete solution for creating their own branded money gift card system but also assisted in its sales. We supplied sales tools to Kreatív Hobby stores (displays, hanging card holders, guides) and granted them access to our own sales channels as well. The KH gift card is available on our webshop (https://ajikartyak.hu/kreativhobby) and is recommended to all our business clients.
The Provided Service:
It was crucial to have a unique product that reflects their activity and company profile. Therefore, we tailored the appearance of the plastic card, in-store placement, and hanging card holder to their requirements.
After finalizing these designs, we took care of production and delivery to their stores. During this time, we introduced our IT system in their stores (AjicardSystem), where each relevant party received specific access levels, and retail units were separated for distinct identification. The system is fundamentally user-friendly, but initial usage is supported by user manuals and short instructional videos. We emphasize the proper placement and display of the cards in the stores as it significantly influences success.
We also provide various display solutions that best suit the stores’ needs. It’s also important to highlight the advantage of using our IT system: the gift card can be sold through other companies’ sales channels, allowing access to new potential customers. The KH gift card, for example, can be found in Ibusz travel agencies on our Aji display.

The IT System:
For providing the highest quality service, having a beautiful card is not enough. Adequate background support and infrastructure are essential.
We provided Kreatív Hobby with a custom-developed accounting and record-keeping AjicardSystem, which you can read about on this website’s homepage. This system allows their team to manage card loading (sales), redemptions (payments), with multi-level access and comprehensive statistics, ensuring all transactions are accurately tracked. For the end-users of the cards, we’ve established a dedicated interface where they can activate the received card, check their balance, or even block it. Additionally, the system enables fully personalized email communication with the end-users, tailored to Kreatív Hobby’s needs. Card users receive electronic notifications after each transaction.
Effectiveness:
Introducing such a gift card is akin to creating a new product for a company, generating additional traffic and profit without significant investment. Our solution and expertise makes this process quick and straightforward.
