Since 2018, we have been collaborating with Amrest, the largest restaurant operator in Central and Eastern Europe. Under their commission, we pamper the employees of KFC and Starbucks with our gifts.

The secret to Amrest’s success lies in its unique corporate culture, based on the principle of “anything is possible”. Teams work hard, and the achievement of goals is always rewarded within the management in a ceremonial manner. Hence, the company’s HR strategy is logical: various tools are used in combination to increase efficiency. Depending on the occasion, individuals, and desired effect, different incentive mechanisms and gift cards are employed:
1. Rewarding the winners of the KFC Face Competition
The KFC Face is a special award presented during events. Employees who lend their faces to recruitment posters (e.g., city lights) receive this award. About a week before the event, Amrest provides us with the exact number of awardees for the specific event. We create a card design suitable for the event, manufacture the cards, load them with the amount specified by Amrest, and deliver them in decorative, stylish cases, ready for presentation. With the selected Aji Occasional card, recipients have a lot of redemption options, with hundreds of thousands of services and products available. After a simple registration, users can redeem the card value in online shops or spend it in our partners’ stores, on one or multiple occasions.
2. Monthly gifting of Amrest employees
Within this program, the best-performing employees are rewarded. The award for the Employee of the Month takes place in the first week of every month, and the HR department rewards the top performers of the restaurant with our gift cards. Awarded employees are free to choose any gift card from our portfolio: Feldobox experiences, Aji cards, or any major brand card available in the Aji webshop, such as Decathlon, MediaMarkt, Libri, Zalando, eMAG, etc. Once ordered, the selected cards are promptly delivered and handed over to the recipients.
3. Colonel’s kitchen competition
This competition is announced annually for employees of the restaurants, where they are required to create a new KFC product. The competition includes a restaurant, district, regional, national, and international level. The product that wins the international competition is introduced at KFC the following year. The competition is now being held for the second time in Hungary, and the Amrest team has chosen the Aji-branded universal gift card for rewarding the winners in the national round.
4. Starbucks advertisement in Feldobox experience catalogs
In 2023, our client decided to collaborate with us not only on HR-related rewards but also in terms of marketing communication. The Starbucks brand showcases magazine advertisements in the printed Feldobox catalogs (70,000 copies). Our unique advertising space, limited in availability to companies, ensures a high-quality advertising environment and guarantees that all users of Feldobox gifts will see the advertisement. The readership consists significantly of AB status social categories, with 40% of our sales being corporate gifts.
Results:
Within the gift-giving market, we provide added value to our partners and clients at various levels. This is also reflected in our collaboration with Amrest, where we strive to tailor our services to various requests, incentive situations, and to offer proactive solutions, focusing on maximizing the success of the specific incentive program. This includes suggesting appropriate gift selections and personalization. For this company, we design elegant, cheerful, and occasion-appropriate gift cards that represent added value, providing a more memorable, heartfelt experience for employees. After personalized production, we also take care of the delivery to ensure that employees receive their gifts on time. Lastly, but not least, recipients have significant freedom in using the gifts, as they can redeem them for what they truly want or need.
